Dakota Corbliss, a trumpet section leader for the Marching Virginians, leads the “run-on” in rehearsals before the Virginia Tech vs. Miami game on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2011. Corbliss, a junior majoring in music within the College of Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, carries one of two Yamaha Xeno gold-plated and engraved trumpets donated in memory of former Marching Virginian Chris Osburn.
