Earlier this month, researchers from Virginia Tech’s College of Engineering released results from the first study ever to investigate the head impact characteristics in youth football. Today, the Roanoke Times published a front-page story on the study. Funding for this project is provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Institute for Critical Technology and Applied Science at Virginia Tech.
