Welcome here, and welcome back! Cmdr. Laura Garza Yambrick (retired U.S. Navy, and a member of the Class of ‘87) recently dropped off her son Philip to begin his college career at Virginia Tech. Philip followed in his parents’ footsteps to enroll at the university and in the Corps of Cadets. While his father, U.S. Navy Capt. Thomas Yambrick ‘87 could not come back for this trip, we plan to get in touch with him soon and write a profile of him and his wife, who are members of our Pylon Society of donors.
