Today was a pretty day at school.

And every day is a great day to be a Hokie!

Remember that dingy, old, non-functioning fountain between the on-campus bookstore and Newman library? Well, it’s gone! The Virginia Tech classes of 1959 and 2009 came together to support the construction of a new outdoor plaza for the Graduate Life Center.

This video contains interview with Adeel Khan, 2009 class president, Laura Freeman, Graduate Student Assembly president, and Dr. Karen Depauw, vice president and dean of Graduate Education. The video was shot on Friday, Oct. 9, 2009.
